Product overview We've received an Epiphone reissue of the 'RIPPER BASS', designed by the legendary Bill Lawrence and which debuted in the 70s alongside the 'GRABBER BASS'! There are reissue versions with one humbucker and a PJ type, but this instrument is the one-humbucker version. The 'RIPPER' became famous when Mike Dirnt of Green Day used it in his early days. Equipped with a heavy maple body and neck and one humbucker pickup, it boasts a powerful bass sound that matches its looks! In particular, the biting sound when played aggressively with a pick is one of a kind! We highly recommend it to punk/grunge players and anyone who wants to play hard rock with a bass that stands out from the crowd!
