Product overview This is the PB400RA, manufactured in 1985, a descendant of the "PULSAR BASS series," which was developed from the late 1970s and supported the early days of electric bass in Japan. It is a historically interesting instrument, representing the last period when Yamaha produced copy models of overseas brands. It follows the traditional material construction that was strongly influenced by Fender at the time, and is built robustly with the careful woodworking precision unique to domestic production. The deep white color that has deepened with age strongly evokes the atmosphere of classic rock. This is an excellent piece that was made during a transitional period when Yamaha was shifting to its own original models, and it allows you to purely experience the high level of perfection as a tool and the true strength of Japanese craftsmanship at that time.
