Product overview We've received a 2013 Epiphone version of the J-160E, famously favored by John Lennon! It was regularly Buy Now as the "John Lennon EJ-160E" from the late 1990s to the mid-2010s, and afterwards, due to licensing issues, the name was dropped, and it's now produced periodically as the "EJ-160E." Like the original model from the era before piezo pickups existed, it features a P-90 type pickup near the neck, designed to be played through electric amplifiers. The common crack between the pickup and soundhole has been repaired, so you can play it with confidence for many years to come! This acoustic model defined an era – why not give it a try? *Due to the characteristics of the pickup, it is recommended to use electric guitar strings when using it electric.
