Product overview In Fender's history, the Japanese-made Squier guitars of the 1980s astonished the world with their high quality. Among them, the highly regarded E-serial period, and a rare "CST-30" model, has arrived. Manufactured with superior Japanese technology under the supervision of Fender itself, this series is now being re-evaluated both domestically and internationally as "Japan vintage." The meticulous craftsmanship unique to this era sets it apart from current Squier guitars, giving it an aura of exuberance. At the time, there were two entry-level models: the '62-style "SST-36" and the '70s-style "CST-30." Over time, the sound produced by the well-played and dried body and maple neck is the quintessential Stratocaster sound.
