Product overview We have received a rare USA-made Schecter guitar, which is almost never seen in Japan! The clear difference between this and Diamond Series or SCHECTER JAPAN is that it is still a handcrafted instrument made by artisans in a California workshop. At one time, it operated as a subcontractor for the manufacture of bodies and necks for companies such as Sadowsky, and it is a specialized workshop that basically only accepts custom orders. This instrument is a 7-string model of the 'AVENGER', which has a distinctive silhouette and is famous for being the basis for the Sinister Gates model! The pickups, which are hand-wired in the workshop, produce a powerful Low-B sound! Schecter Japan does not handle custom orders, so there are almost no orders from Japan at present! The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with the truss rod and is now almost straight. There is slight wear on the frets, but there is still plenty of height left and it does not interfere with playing.
